What this site is

Jackpot Ledger House is a comparison and review site. We keep a short ledger of casinos licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, test each one against the same checklist, and publish what we find in plain English. The current ledger runs to five operators — 888 Casino, Casumo, LottoGo, 10Bet and Casushi — because five is a number we can genuinely keep current, and a longer list would mean shallower notes.

We are not a casino. We hold no gambling licence and want none: no games run here, no bets are taken, and no player money ever passes through this site. We're not a regulator either, and no operator on the ledger owns any part of this site. If you have a problem with a casino account, the operator's own support and, beyond that, the Gambling Commission's complaints routes are the right doors — not us.

How the money works

This site is funded by affiliate commissions. When a reader opens an account through one of our links, the operator may pay us a fee. That's the entire business model — there are no subscriptions, no paid placements and no banner ads from third parties.

The obvious question is whether that funding bends the reviews. Our answer is structural rather than a promise: every operator on the ledger is scored against the same checklist, the verdicts are explained on the page where you can check our reasoning, and an operator that stopped deserving its spot would be removed even if it paid the best commission of the lot. Why beginners are the yardstick

Most casino comparison sites are written for people who already know what RTP means. We take the opposite bet: if a site is pleasant for someone opening their first account — clear menus, readable bonus terms, easy-to-find limits — it's almost always pleasant for everyone else too. So the ledger weights its verdicts towards the first hour of use, and our guides, like the live-dealer etiquette page, assume no prior knowledge.

What we won't do

• List a casino that doesn't hold a current UKGC licence. No exceptions, whatever the commission.
• Describe gambling as a way to make money. It isn't one, and any site telling you otherwise is selling something.
• Publish invented statistics, fake testimonials or "readers' choice" awards nobody voted for.
• Let an operator preview, edit or veto a word of a review.
